Scientific software
PySymmetry
A Sage/Python framework for the symmetry reduction of linear G-equivariant systems, developed with Marcelo P. Santos. The software uses finite-group representation theory to construct symmetry-adapted bases and reduce equivariant operators to block-diagonal form, with symbolic and numerical workflows.

Qclib
A quantum computing library built on Qiskit, with a focus on quantum state preparation. I contribute to the library and to research on algorithms for preparing sparse quantum states.

Symmetry reduction for discrete exterior calculus
Research code and data for applying finite-group representation theory to discrete exterior calculus on curved and three-dimensional meshes.
Ongoing research
- Quantum state preparation algorithms (UFRPE, since 2021). Project coordinator; financial support from FACEPE. Efficient methods for preparing sparse and dense quantum states.
- Collaborative theorem proving with large language models (UFRPE, since 2024). Project coordinator. Collaboration between language models to assist formal mathematical proofs.
- Variational quantum circuits: architecture, computability, training, and applications (UFPE Informatics Center, since 2025). Research team member.
Education and outreach
PyMat — Python for Mathematics (UFRPE, 2021–2022). An extension project I coordinated to connect programming, mathematics, and science through practical activities with Python. Related materials are available on the teaching page.
